A client that has had me install our Foam & Coatings System on three of their buildings roofs in the past, recently contacted me for some more coatings work. This time, I coated three 47Ft long Sea Shipping containers. These containers will be used as temporary storage, until they have a complete load to fill another container that will be shipped out to some third world country, so their people will be in and out of these metal containers a-lot. Most of these workers are Nunn's, of the Sisters of Saint Francis Convent.

The process: Power washed the containers. Applied Maintain rust inhibitor coating and then applied our Benchmark Top Coat roof coating to the top of each container, one full side of two containers and then the top 18" of the remaining sides of all three containers.(This was done because they will be setting along side each other.)

The temperature inside an unfinished container before coatings were applied was 122 degrees with the outside air themps in the 90's. After the coating process was completed, the inside temperature was 82 - 83 degrees. A difference of 39 - 40 degrees. Outside Air temps in the high 90's! Cooler inside the container than the air temp outside the container.
